Only Orthodontics was established in 1990 and is very well known in the local area for providing exceptional orthodontic care. Our current principal, Dr Besher Aswad, joined Only Orthodontics in 2001, and took the role as Principal Orthodontist in 2018. He is very highly regarded in his field and provides high quality treatment with exceptional results.

Being a specialist orthodontic practice means we only offer orthodontic treatment exclusively and our orthodontists are on the specialist orthodontic list with the General Dental Council, the only governing body in dentistry.
Learn moreFollowing their qualification as fully trained dentists, our orthodontists embarked on a further three years of orthodontic training that led to the award of a Master’s degree in clinical orthodontics and a Diploma or Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in the speciality of Orthodontics. They will have only practised orthodontics exclusively ever since, acquiring a high level of expertise in this field.
Our clinical staff members also include experienced dentists and orthodontic therapists who work under the direct supervision of the orthodontist. Orthodontic therapists are Dental Care Professionals (DCP) who work under close supervision of the orthodontist, to a carefully planned prescription. Their qualification is a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy run by the Royal College of Surgeons.
